Cybit Interactive
Sound detection/recognition/learning/localization/transformation for non-speech signals, such as music, natural sound and human non-speech sound has found rapidly increasing applications in many fields including military, security, environment, and robots/toys. CYBIT has the special expertise in developing these unique technologies for various sound-interactive applications.

Audio Pattern Matching & Human Sound Detection
As examples, under a contract with SONY, CYBIT had successfully developed a new technology, audio pattern matching, for automatic audio quality control during mass production of Blu-ray disc players. Recently, CYBIT has also developed a unique technology for human sound detection/recognition for a customer's toy product.
Music Beat Tracking
BT accurately extracts music beats and generate beat pulses in real time. The beat pulses can be used to activate sound, image, lights, motors, etc. for many music interactive applications.
Examples of BT application include real-time beat-triggered sound effect, LED light or image display, such as for PMP (portable media player) and MP3 devices; light fixture for speakers; dancing robots/toys; dancing floor pads; laser or strobe light shows; automobile LED/light decor. In fact, the applications are limited only by imagination.

FEATURES
- Output #1: beat pulses.
- Output #2: BPM (beat-per-minute) data.
- Output #3: Power-level for each of 8 sub-bands of the music signal.
- Output #4: Silence detection (to stop BT when music stops).
- Fast beat tracking at music start and music end.
- Input format: 16 bit/sample linear PCM, 8-kHz sample rate.
Sound Transformation
Voice conversion and sound effect functions allow advanced digital manipulation of music and voice signals to achieve artificially created or modified voice and sound effect for various applications.
Voice Changing (VX): Flexible voice changing among male, female, children, and robot for educational, entertainment and security applications.
Temporal (Playback Speed) Control: Changing the playback speed of speech or music signal without affecting its pitch, while maintaining the high quality of the original audio - 0.5x to 2x normal speed (half to twice speed).
Pitch Shift: Shifting a signal up or down in pitch, e.g., key shift (-1 to +1 octave) for karaoke application.
